The Scottish Government has launched a
consultation on making changes to the Landlord Registration Scheme. The
proposed changes include a new fee structure, landlords to
confirm/evidence compliance with housing legislation eg safety
certificates and the removal of discounts. The responses received will
help to shape the changes to the application process that will require
landlords to demonstrate that they meet their legal responsibilites. The
consultation closes 7 June 2018.
