The Scottish Government has published a consultation into energy efficiency in the privated rented sector. The consultation seeks to bring forward proposals to ensure all privately rented homes in Scotland meet a minimum standard of energy efficiency and asks for views on all properties requiring a minimum Energy Performance Certificate rating of ‘E’ from 2019, rising to ‘D’ from 2022.
