The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service has produced a number of fire safety leaflets highlighting the importance of keeping common stairs clear of all combustible materials and having a fire plan. We fully support the guidance issued by the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service and would urge everyone to take the time to read the guidance.
